Recently, KLINGER UK travelled to Georgetown, Guyana, to finalise the new partnership with GPEC Energy Products Inc and celebrate the launch of the new company with a presentation that was attended by senior VIPs within the local market.

GPEC Energy Products Inc offer comprehensive consultancy services across a full range of industrial valves and other niche, static equipment, supporting sectors such as oil and gas exploration, production, refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, processing, nuclear, power generation, and steam management.
As part of the GPEC Group, since its establishment in Wigan in 2008, GPEC has seen significant growth. In 2024, the company took another major step by launching GPEC Energy Products Inc., expanding into the South American market to become a key provider of specialized equipment for the region’s oil and gas industry.

The KLINGER UK team was honoured to represent the company at this landmark event. We recently caught up with Ben Blinman, Projects Pursuit Manager for KLINGER UK, who shared his insights and experiences from the trip.
As a representative for KLINGER UK at GPEC’s launch in Guyana on the 12th of November, Ben was keen to discuss the focus of the trip and the exciting prospects of this new chapter.
Ben: “My highlights of the trip were meeting the GPEC Guyana Team & networking with a high level of delegates, including a range of ministers and business leaders. It was really interesting to see first-hand the developing city of Georgetown and learn how the rapidly growing economy is changing the outlook of the country. Guyana now has the fastest growing economy in the world.”
